I know this picture is blurry, but I kinda like it.

Friday night at Cardiff was absolutely immense. Each time I go to a McFly gig, I don’t hold high hopes that they will top the experience they created last time I saw them, but each time they prove me wrong. It was absolutely unimaginable. Usually, I would search for the set list and how they open the show and so I know what to expect, but this time I didn’t and I’m glad I didn’t. I’m glad I was surprised by each song and I loved feeling the surprised happiness when they started playing each song. I can’t explain how much I melted when I heard the tune to Bubblewrap. I could’ve cried. This year, it has been 10 years since they started and I am proud to say that I have been a part of it. I’m proud to be their fan, they get ridiculed from time to time by people I know, they take the piss right in front of me, I smile and laugh though because of the fact they’ve made it 10 years and I’m part of the reason they’re still going. I buy their music, I go to every tour I can, I follow their journey, and I feel as though they’re idols but at the same time they’re so easy to mistake as friends. That sounds weird. But they have a bond with their fans that makes the fans feel more like their friends. I think that’s important and I think it’s a significant reason as to why they’re still going strong. The tour felt really good, it felt like a good time to have a ‘best of’ album and tour. I’m ready for the next 10 years. 

No one will probably even read this, but I needed to express how great it was to experience this concert. Well done, McFly, you truly out-did yourself.
